Thrive Themes is an all-in-one website builder that was created by Shane Melaugh and Paul McCarthy

Shane and Paul were entrepreneurs working individually on failing projects before they met.

Shane's marketing background and Paul's technical expertise proved a powerful match, and they quickly got to work.

The duo realized that existing WordPress plugins and themes were scattered all over the place. Secondly, none of them were optimized for building fast, high-converting websites 

And so Thrive Themes was born.

Thrive Themes launched in 2015 and is now serving over 114,000 customers.

Based on the above, I can confirm that Thrive Themes passes the credibility check and is NOT a scam.

Thrive Themes claims that you'll:

• Enjoy using the fastest and most intuitive visual editor on Word press.
• Build your mailing lists super fast by having full control over every aspect of your opt-in forms.

• Build professional-grade online courses.
• Perform A/B testing to optimize your landing pages.
• Use testimonials and scarcity to boost sales. 

What exactly is Thrive Themes?

Thrive Themes is a complete website builder suite.  

With Thrive Themes you can:

1. Pick between hundreds of high-converting pre-made templates to build your website + Customize every single element the eyes can see with intuitive drag-and-drop features.
2. Integrate unlimited quizzes on any page in your website to boost engagement or sales.
3. Build an unlimited number of online courses with a premium feel.
4. Pick between hundreds of high-converting opt-in pages to build unlimited email lists.
5. Allow your readers to comment on all your posts with Thrive Comments; complete with innovative features like upvoting, down voting, gamified comment incentives and an impressive number of after-comment-actions.
   
6. Have access to Thrive University, which is full of incredible marketing courses that are completely free.

So as you can see, Thrive Themes has a TON to offer you if you have, or plan to have, an online business. 

And it doesn't matter what business you're working on. 

It could be dropshipping, affiliate marketing, Google adsense, blogging, copywriting, or any other online business you can think of.

So Let's break it all down

Two years ago, I got sick of Clickfunnels and its ridiculously pricey monthly fees. 

I felt Clickfunnels was surrounded by a cult of advocates who gave inflated testimonials that over-glorified Clickfunnels with unrealistic expectations

For all the hype, Clickfunnels lacked a ton of features to justify its price tag of $3,564/Year + Taxes!

I decided enough was enough and began exploring alternatives. 

Here are the most important criteria when looking for a website builder:

1. Reasonable monthly pricing.
2. Unlimited support (Especially if you're not a designer or programmer.)
3. An all-in-one tool. (I didn't want several monthly costs for different softwares. I needed EVERYTHING included in ONE website builder.)
4. An intuitive drag-and-drop visual editor.
5. Flexibility. (I wanted a website builder that would allow me to do dropshipping, affiliate marketing, blogging and copywriting.)
6. Premium, unique landing page designs that weren't overused by thousands of marketers.
7. Fixed pricing. (Once you sign up, the price would NEVER go up.)
8. Capacity to build lightning speed websites.

Having these criteria in mind, I came across Shopify, Wix, Squarespace and a few others.

• The issue with Shopify is that it's mainly geared towards dropshipping. 
• Wix was very well-priced but had extremely generic website designs that were used by millions of marketers. I knew using Wix would reduce my brand 'uniqueness.'
• Squarespace was also reasonably priced and had great features. However, the package simply wasn't good enough. An expensive upgrade was required to get what I needed out of it.
• Everything else was either super pricey or lacklustre in terms of features.

Eventually, I found Thrive Themes, ticked ALL my boxes and knew I found the website builder I was looking for.

As much as I love Thrive Themes, there are setbacks you need to be aware of.

• I found that the learning curve to mastering Thrive Themes was rather steep. There were several instances where I struggled to do certain things.
• Thrive Theme's support, while very helpful, can take a long time to get back to you. For example, if I submit an inquiry, it can take as long as 24 hours to get back to me, which I found frustrating.
• Another setback was that Thrive themes has very frequent updates for its plugins. This means your website will be slower than usual if you didn't update, so make sure you constantly check for updates.
• WordPress exclusive.

Like almost every other website builder, Thrive Themes requires a subscription payment you can pay either quarterly or yearly.
