My First Impressions On Speechelo

I first came across Speechelo when I saw ads for it on Facebook. I found Speechelo's offer very compelling, as it appeared to solve a problem for many people who struggle to make their own videos.

Maybe you're too shy, maybe your English isn't great, or maybe you just don’t want to appear on video. Whatever the reason, I felt Speechelo was an excellent tool to fix that problem. Video marketing is a powerful tool in your marketing arsenal and provides a substantial advantage to those who're able to utilise it.

Even if you prefer not to make videos of yourself, finding the best suitable alternative is important.

So far, Speechelo seems to be a superb alternative. 

Having said that, we also know that voiceover softwares can be notorious for being bad. Many of them shatter our expectations because of how robotic the voiceovers end up sounding.

This line of thought made me skeptical of Speechelo until I actually tried it out.

Speechelo Review: Let's Break It All Down

Blastersuite's Speechelo has an excellent user interface. I found that using it for the first time was straightforward. I didn't feel like I needed any training or guidance to use it effectively. 

I found that even with the basic version, the voiceover options you can choose from are plenty. The major drawback I felt with the basic version was that there was a character limit of 700 words. 

For example, if you have a 1,000 word script you wanted to turn into a voiceover, you would need to paste 700 of those words into the script box and then separately paste the rest of the 300 words. This can interrupt the flow of your voiceover between the two scripts, and it might not sound very compelling. 

A Very Exciting Tonality Feature

As mentioned, Speechelo allows you to choose the tonality of your voiceover. You have the choice of allowing the software to automate tonality how it sees fit, OR you can manually adjust the tonality yourself.

You can adjust it yourself by manually adding breathing between sentences and emphasizing words by highlighting them in the script box. 

Not only that, but you can also highlight any part of your speech in the script box and tweak the volume, speaking rate and pitch of the voiceover. This really gives you incredible control over the voiceover and how it sounds.

The only drawback is, too much tweaking risks making the voiceover sound more robotic.

Second, keep in mind that your ability to control the tonality of your voiceover is mainly available in English. For most other languages, you won't have the option of picking out the tonality.
